This tool runs on
your Gamecube, and allows you to view the directory listing on an
original GC
Mini-DVD. It was developed completely using free open source tools. You
can find more information on how to use it in the readme file. It
has been tested with several discs and appears to work fine with each
one.
You can load it using one of the homebrewn code
loading tools found at www.gcdev.com.
Version 1.2 adds the ability to view the location of each file on the DVD, the size of each file, and the location of the FST file location entry in memory. (offset by 0)
Version 1.3 and 1.4 fixed bugs that may cause some non-english filenames to crash the program.
Version 1.5 attempts to fix a bug that causes some GC's to only be able to read one disc.
Version 2.0 is a complete rewrite. Folders on a disc are now
displayed as folders, and you can browse inside of them.
Version 2.1 slightly improves navigation, returning you to your
previous location when you leave a folder, instead of the root of the
disc.
